Over the past few weeks, members of our community have dedicated countless hours to knitting beautiful red poppies in preparation for Remembrance. These handmade tributes are a heartfelt symbol of gratitude and respect for those who served and sacrificed.
Our amazing volunteers have also worked tirelessly to attach the poppies to netting, creating a striking display that is now proudly featured in the Memorial Garden at Aspire Ryde. This collaborative effort reflects the spirit of remembrance and unity within our community.
As we approach Remembrance Day, we invite you to visit the garden, take a moment to pause, and reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who gave so much for our freedom.
“We will remember them.”
